--LHP Aaron Laffey on Tuesday night became the first pitcher in 39 years to get the opposing team to ground into double plays in five consecutive innings. The last pitcher to do that was Detroit's Les Cain, vs. Minnesota, on May 6, 1970. The Indians turned six double plays in Tuesday's game, equaling the club record and major league record.
