--2B Asdrubal Cabrera, C Victor Martinez, and OF Shin-Soo Choo each had four hits in the Indians' 11-7 win over Tampa Bay Thursday. That marked the first time three Indians had four hits each in a game since Tommy Hinzo, Joe Carter, and Mel Hall did it on Sept. 5, 1987.
--SS Jhonny Peralta made his first start of the season at third base Thursday. Manager Eric Wedge said he expects to give Peralta more starts at third, with 2B Asdrubal Cabrera moving to shortstop. --The Indians' 4-0 win over Chicago on Wednesday gave them just their second series win of the year. They are 2-7-3 in series this year.
