--CF Grady Sizemore stole his 30th base Sunday. He's three shy of his career high set last year. Sizemore has been successful in 23 of his last 24 stolen-base attempts. He also needs just three more home runs to join Joe Carter as the only players in Indians history with 30 homers and 30 RBIs in the same season.
--RHP Jensen Lewis, who is currently getting a trial as the closer, is 3-for-4 in save situations, 3-for-3 as the closer. --LHP Cliff Lee, with a record of 17-2, leads the major leagues with a .895 winning percentage, which would rank second on the Indians' all-time list, behind only Johnny Allen, who had a .938 winning percentage when he went 15-1 in 1937.
--LHP Jeremy Sowers has a 4.01 ERA in his last five starts after having a 6.44 ERA in his first 10 starts.
--OF Franklin Gutierrez, who had three hits, including a two-run first-inning single in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Angels, was hitting .155 with runners in scoring position prior to that hit.
