NEW YORK (AP) - Victor Martinez was back in the Cleveland Indians' lineup Wednesday night one day after he was scratched with a stiff neck.
The All-Star catcher served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-3 with a sacrifice fly in Cleveland's 3-0 victory over the New York Yankees. His 15-game hitting streak ended."He's better today and still not able to catch," Indians manager Eric Wedge said before the game.
Martinez is hitting .337 with no homers and 11 RBIs in 26 games this season.
