Dellucci hit .240 (6-for-25) with two homers and five RBIs in eight spring games for Cleveland. This is the outfielder's sixth trip to the DL since reaching the majors in 1997 with the Baltimore Orioles.

The 35-year-old signed a three-year contract as a free agent before the 2007 season.

Dellucci hit .230 with four homers and 20 RBIs in 56 games in his first year with Cleveland, missing three months after surgery to remove a tendon from behind his left knee. A year ago, he hit .238 with 11 homers and 47 RBIs in 113 games.

Crowe, 25, batted .289 with one homer, three RBIs and went 6-for-6 in stolen-base attempts this spring before being optioned out on Saturday. The recall does not use an option on the switch hitter since it occurred before the season.

A first-round pick out of Arizona in 2005, Crowe has a .275 career average with 20 homers, 164 RBIs and 102 stolen bases in 377 minor league games.
