Indians update: They have lost four in a row and five of six. Jhonny Peralta (.290, four homers, 12 RBI) and Asdrubal Cabrera (.326, 10 RBI) hit the White Sox well last season. Grady Sizemore (.211, three homers, nine RBI) did not. Lee went 1-0 in two starts, giving up one earned run in 17 innings, against the White Sox. Reliever Rafael Betancourt struck out 13 in 11 2/3 innings.

White Sox update: Longtime Indians nemesis A.J. Pierzynski (.322, four homers, nine RBI) and Jermaine Dye (.309, seven homers, 14 RBI) hit the Tribe well last season. Former Indian Jim Thome batted .210 but had six homers. Mark Buehrle went 1-1 with a 6.53 ERA in four starts.
