What was really behind that 22-4 Yankees loss?
Apr. 21, 2009 (The Orlando Sentinel delivered by Newstex ) --

Did you see that incredible game over the weekend, where the Cleveland Indians spankedthe New York Yankees 22-4?

The Cleveland Browns usually dont score that many points.

Now questions arise.

Were all those runs the result of poor Yankee pitching?

Were the Indians all hopped up on Wheaties

Or were there more base reasons, such as the Yankees were partied out, while the Indians had their ears pinned back

Nope, none of that, according to AccuWeather.com.

Rather it was the design of the new Yankees Stadium, which allows the wind to easily carry balls over the fence, AccuWeather claims.

?Although the field dimensions of the new stadium are exactly that of the old stadium, the shell of the new stadium is shaped differently. AccuWeather.com meteorologists also estimate that the angle of the seating in the new stadium could have an effect on wind speed across the field, the online weather firm declaredin a press release.

Next time the Yankees build a stadium, they should call in a few meteorologists!
